Work Management Assessment:
The Work Management Assessment is a comprehensive analysis of the organization’s maintenance process and operating practices. It is designed for the industry in which it operates and the market place in which it competes.
Results of the assessment serve as an objective perspective of the overall health of the maintenance function and the benefit it provides to other elements in the enterprise; operations, supply chain, sales, distribution and engineering.
Tech Shelter Group professionals utilize an array of empirically based diagnostic tools and methods in assessing the operating norms and improvement opportunities of the organization that is under review.
Assessment results are presented as quantitatively as possible in order to establish a measureable baseline from which future operating improvements can easily and realistically be measured.
The assessment serves as a benchmarking tool to determine where the organization is positioned with respect to others in the same industry.
The assessment provides an appraisal of strengths and weaknesses as a service organization and identifies improvement opportunities that can be achieved in its mission.
Results are presented to leadership in terms of their strategic and tactical importance to the business.
Each element of the maintenance function is evaluated with respect to it’s alignment to the organization’s business plan.
Each opportunity for improvement uncovered in the assessment is presented in a Project Approach program document. The document contains an overview and schedule of key events and deliverables required for each financial or operating improvement opportunity. A business review is also provided if further engagement of Tech Shelter Group personnel is contemplated by management.
Employee Assessment:
The Employee Assessment process entails a series of diagnostic interviews designed by Tech Shelter Group professionals and your company's subject matter experts and is focused upon the most important aspects of each high risk/critical job in your organization.
Assessment interviews are conducted one on one with each employee. They are interactive and confidential to encourage the most honest and expansive self assessment for each employee.
Results identify specific training needs and gaps within each high risk/critical job in the organization.
Employee Assessments are not tests and are not intended to measure current performance or competency levels. Results are not linked to pay or performance ratings.
Assessments are designed and customized to meet your organizational, industry and regulatory compliance requirements.
The Assessment process enables you to prioritize training plans and expenditures. It enables you to target training budgets to critical needs & training plans unique to your company and each individual.
The Assessment interview is based upon comprehensive job requirements; Regulatory, Industry, Company, Equipment and any critical criteria that may be unique to optimal and safe employee performance.
It is designed to identify the tools and training requirements for today’s workplace and emerging requirements for each employee.
The successful outcome of an Employee Assessment process is the assurance of employee competency for safe & effective operations and the cultivation of future growth and learning within your organization for each employee.
